Tofu's Sojourn in the Bedroom

Before he knew it. It was over. He had followed his dreams into the dank risque underbelly of the house they called, "the Bedroom". He had to leave, he had to leave before he succumbed to the languid, lackadasical yet strangely comforting pace of the room.

With all his courage, he smooshed himself headstrong towards the door. He would never let sloth trap him. He was young, he could do this. It's not the end. There will be new forays. The Kitchen had been his new goal, one fraught with sharp adverseries, and cold abodes worth of sustenance. There was even the possibility of family. An ancient tribe hailing from China is said to still exist there; their females were said to be silky and all respond to the name, Tau Huay. How could he desist. Onward; he chanted to himself doggedly.

But yet, the quaint alluring warmth of the room pulled at him. The soft sheets, the potent airconditioning. Oh how they beckoned! Perplexed, he pauses to collect his memories. Furrowed and tired, he ponders the possibility of staying. Maybe, this is where the journey should rightfully end!

NO! he winces, and turns away from the room. Temptation is not something tofu like him would fall for. Yet deep inside his soybean heart, he felt the ache of leaving it all behind. He was tired of the transitions, all he wanted was somewhere he could belong.

The heavy door swung towards him as tears gripped his dark sombre eyes.

The glass towering table slid from view. The leathery chair he had spent many a nights on slinked from his vision. It was getting harder to see. He could almost feel the memories being tucked away, into some small corner of his own mind. More and more minute. He did not want to forget.

The door creaked angrily, LEAVE abandoner. It seemed to cry. Your lofty dreams await you, but remember in your departure, you would have forsaken the peace of sleep, the beauty of dreams; the warmth of these covers. Never again, will you climb this wonderwall. Leave!

Emotions welled in his soybean of a heart. No more could he feel that blissful black cover of quiescence, no more could he feel that womblike solace. No more.

i know i'm quiet in that sphere. its partially because i wish to be, and simultaneously its also because i honestly don't give a damn. i wish i could say i did enjoy the words, but then i'd be outright lying, and this dam is starting to crack.
harshly reminiscent of a dark incident i swore to myself i will never be the cause of again, i don't wish to reach that same point, but at the rate we're going, i'm afraid we might be there sooner than i thought.

there's no growth, instead there's this rotting stagnation and continuous placidness that i cannot enliven or even wish to, and this. emptiness that i can't color, a utter and undismissable breakdown. i don't know what's worse, the intangible (but certainly present) existence of this, or the fact that i have no interest in making it better.

only one thread holds me in place and lately even its beginning to thin. (this one i really can't decipher). just one more question.

2007 is here, and this is late, but oh well.
it ended beautifully with the people i love and a night to remember.

don't think of it as how people will think of you, instead think of it as how you will think of yourself. the concept of clique is somthing that i honestly abhor, i learnt that in JC, that cliques only serve to sow discord in the long run, so by thinking in those terms you're only going to allow yourself to feel even more disparaged. it doesn't matter what clique you're in or what group you BELONG to, its about who loves and cares for you. a clique is something that society moulds and stereotypes you into, its not something that you should envision yourself in and more so not let it overwhelm and doubt your own personal influence. that's why i keep harping on the fact that you are more than that.

cause you can see how its like and how the world works, and the kinks in the system that you don't fit into.
